Battle Creek Police and Fire Report

REWARD OFFERED:Battle Creek police are asking for help in the weekend shooting death of Dominique McKinney, 19. Silent Observer is offering up to $1,000 as a reward for information about who shot McKinney in front of his home on Oneita Street during a fight Friday. Police have identified several people who were involved in the fight, but Detective Barb Walters said officers are looking for witnesses who can identify the shooter. Police also are looking for the gun. Anyone with information about the shooter or the location of the gun is asked to call the police department at 966-3322 or Silent Observer at 964-3888. Tips to Silent Observer are confidential.
